Choosing the music for your wedding can be fun, but there are some issues to consider. Picking your songs can be a very fun process, but for some it can be a little more difficult is deciding on a DJ or a live band. Some things to consider are if you anticipate your guests having song requests - will the band be able to cover these songs? Will you have a live band for the first few dances and switch to a DJ for the remainder of the evening?
Choosing between a DJ, band, or both is typically an issue of taste. You should meet with either before booking - you don't want to end up with a DJ that has a very bland personality! Price is also a big factor. Bands tend to cost more than DJs, and the variety of music may not be as great. But it really is up to the bride and groom!
